New Music: The Infectious Pleasure Pill Releases New Single, “Don’t Fly Away”
Releasing a third single from their debut record, Hang a Star, out June 27th, Pleasure Pill gives a nod to some of the best 90s bands out there, often being compared to the legendary Oasis, but with their own Britpop twist. In addition, Under the Radar compares their melodies to the Beatles. From that praise alone, you already know that Pleasure Pill is your new favorite band, one that gives a propulsive rush like a sugar high. You can find out more about the band in our introduction, found here, but for now, check out “Don’t Fly Away,” another dopamine hit of a track, ASAP.
Lead singer Jonah Paz explains the track:
“For my generation of people who have been starved of genuine musical and cultural moments. The folktale of hearing Nirvana for the first time or seeing the Beatles on Ed Sullivan can now be paralleled with the world hearing this song for the first time.”
